All Skincare Brands
Brand loyalty in skincare is understandable but often misplaced. A brand that makes an exceptional moisturizer might produce a mediocre serum, and the most expensive line in a store might score lower than the drugstore option next to it. That is why Skin Intel scores individual products, not brands. Below you will find every brand in our database. Each brand page shows all of that brand's products with their scores across relevant skin conditions, so you can see exactly where a brand excels and where it falls short. We do not accept sponsorships, affiliate payments, or promotional consideration from any brand. Every score is determined by the same criteria: ingredient efficacy, clinical evidence, formulation quality, and real user outcomes from thousands of verified reviews.

How We Evaluate Products
Every product in our database goes through the same rigorous evaluation process regardless of brand, price tier, or popularity. We start with a complete INCI ingredient analysis, identifying key actives, their concentrations where available, and any potential irritants or allergens. We then review the clinical evidence for those actives at those concentrations. Next, we analyze thousands of user reviews from multiple sources -- Amazon, Sephora, Ulta, Reddit, and brand-specific communities -- filtering specifically for mentions of each skin condition. Finally, we synthesize all of this into a condition-specific score from 0 to 100. A drugstore product that outperforms a luxury one will score higher. A popular product with weak ingredients will score lower than its reviews suggest. The methodology is consistent, transparent, and focused entirely on what actually works for your specific skin concern.
Understanding Price Tiers
Drugstore
Products typically under $20 at retail, available at pharmacies and mass retailers. Many drugstore products score exceptionally well because they use proven, well-researched ingredients without the markup of luxury packaging and marketing. Brands like CeraVe, The Ordinary, and Vanicream consistently punch above their price tier in our scoring.
Mid-Range
Products typically $20 to $50, often found at specialty beauty retailers. This tier includes many dermatologist-developed brands and those with higher concentrations of active ingredients. The value proposition varies widely -- some mid-range products justify the price with superior formulation, while others simply charge more for similar ingredients.
Premium
Products typically $50 to $100, usually from established skincare houses or clinical brands. Premium products sometimes offer genuinely superior formulations with patented delivery systems or rare active ingredients. However, price alone does not predict efficacy -- always check the score.
Luxury
Products over $100, from heritage beauty houses or exclusive clinical lines. While some luxury products contain cutting-edge ingredients and formulations that justify the cost, many rely on brand prestige and elegant packaging. Our scores do not factor in price -- a luxury product earns its score the same way as a drugstore one.
Why do some drugstore products score higher than luxury brands?
Because scoring is based on ingredient efficacy, clinical evidence, and user outcomes -- not price or brand prestige. A $15 CeraVe cleanser with ceramides, hyaluronic acid, and niacinamide will outscore a $90 cleanser with the same or weaker active ingredients, regardless of packaging or marketing claims. Expensive does not mean effective, and affordable does not mean inferior.
Does Skin Intel accept sponsorships or affiliate payments from brands?
No. Every score is determined by the same criteria regardless of brand. We do not accept promotional consideration, affiliate commissions, or sponsored placements. Product inclusion and scoring are based solely on ingredient analysis, clinical evidence, and real user data.
How do I find the best products from a specific brand?
Click on any brand below to see all of their products sorted by score. Each brand page shows condition-specific ratings so you can find the best product from that brand for your specific skin concern. You can also use our condition pages and best-for pages to find top-scoring products across all brands.
Why is a brand I use not listed here?
Our database is continuously growing but does not yet cover every skincare brand on the market. We prioritize adding products that are widely available, frequently recommended by dermatologists, or commonly requested by users. If you would like to see a specific brand or product added, let us know.
